Corrina Daymond
Hello, my name is Corrina. I am married and have two young
children. I have worked at Abbey Mead since 2004 and
currently work two days a week. I recently sat my Dental
Nurse Examination in Truro and passed and would now like to
further my dental education possibly becoming an Oral Health
Educator. My spare time is enjoyed helping my children
discover and explore the world. |

Christine Hartley
I am known as Christine. After leaving school I worked in a
dental practice whilst waiting to pursue a career in the
Royal Navy as a Stores Accountant. I served on numerous
ships and shore bases before leaving to have my three
children. I then resumed work in dentistry and now find my
experience has spanned 16 years. I am currently a registered
dental nurse attending Plymouth University to be awarded the
modern dental nurse qualification. I have worked in numerous
NHS and private practices. I started at Abbey Mead in August
2006.
I like to keep trim and am a keen runner. This helps in my
job as a Police Special Constable based in Plymouth. I hope
one day to represent Devon and Cornwall Constabulary with my
running abilities.
In my spare time I love to take my family to our caravan by
the coast and whenever possible experience different
cultures of the world. |

Emma Saunders
EDH
Emma started her dental career at University Dental Hospital
London where in 1983 she qualified as a Dental Surgery
Assistant. After working as a member of hospital staff for
several years she trained and qualified as a Dental
Hygienist in 1988.
Since then she has worked in both NHS and private practice.
For 15 years she worked for renowned Periodontologist and
Implantologist Dr Alan Sidi in the West End of London.
In 2003 Emma and her husband, equine dentist Bill Lomas,
moved to Devon. Abbey Mead was lucky to have Emma join the
team at this time.
Emma's hobbies include a love of horses, animals and the
countryside. She also enjoys walking and reading.
(Our customers regularly say that Emma is the most gentle
and motivating hygienist they have come across!) |

Maxine Kane
I have worked in the Dental industry for 30yrs since
qualifying as a Dental Therapist in London in 1979 and as a
Dental Hygienist in Birmingham in 1982. My first position
was in the Kent Community Dental Service and since then I
have gained experience working abroad, in the NHS and now in
private practice with Paddy and Ann as well as being
involved in different areas of education within the new
Peninsula Dental School, Plymouth.
I am married with two beautiful teenage daughters, who keep
me busy with their swimming competitions in the West Country
and other social commitments.
My spare time is generally spent swimming, at the movies or
outdoors enjoying historical sites or the British
countryside. |
